Au Pair Network (APN) is a project in collaboration between the three organisations; KIT (The Churches Integration Ministry), Caritas and FOA. KIT is the responsible data controller for all of APN’s activities and our private policy is in accordance with KIT’s.

Private Policy for The Churches Integration Ministry (KIT)
As data controller, KIT takes your data security seriously. When KIT is processing your personal data related to e.g. membership, our private policy is asserted. The following lets you know how we process your data. Concurrently, we make sure to process your personal data in correlation with current, domestic and international, law.

If we ask you to make your personal data available to us, we will inform you which data we process about you and for what purpose. You will be notified before we collect any data, and you will be asked to give your consent.

We only use your data in connection to membership or other affiliation with KIT.
The data we use includes:
Regular personal data such as contact information; Name, address, email and phone number
Potential, confidential information in connection with your own requests concerning counselling, and guidance with reference to/from other authorities.
We gather and store your personal data for specific purposes
We gather and store relevant data solely in connection with your engagement or affiliation with KIT. This can be in relation to KIT’s events, tax reporting in connection to gifts and tax deduction, or to share general information concerning the private policy with you.
We only process relevant personal data
We process and store that of your personal data, which is relevant and sufficient in regards to the above-mentioned purposes. This also applies to the personal data we use. However, it can be established through law that certain kind of data needs to be retrieved to ensure KIT’s additional operations. The type and scope of the personal data we process may also be necessary in relevance to fulfil a contract, a gift or a legal obligation.
We control and update your personal data
We make sure that your personal data is up to date. As our service is dependent upon your correct and updated data, we kindly ask you to inform us about any relevant changes in your data. You can use the contact information above to report changes.
We delete your personal data when it is no longer needed
We delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, processed and stored.
We obtain your consent before processing your personal data
We obtain your consent before processing your personal data for the purposes above mentioned unless we have another legal ground for obtaining it. We will inform you about the legal ground and our legitimate interest in processing your personal data.
Your consent is voluntarily and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Use the contact information above to get more information. If you withdraw consent, all data concerning you, will be deleted.
We do not share personal data without your consent
We do not share your personal data with other organisations or any third party. We do not sell your information. However, we do not collect your consent if we are legally obligated to share your personal data as part of reporting for an authority, as this is within the boundaries of the law.
We protect your personal data according to our internal rules for information security
In KIT we have adopted rules for internal information security that contain instructions and precautions to protect your personal data against being destroyed or modified. It is also protected against unauthorised publication and against trespassers.

If you find the personal data we process concerning you, to be incorrect you have the right to have it corrected. Please contact us and inform us about the incorrectness and how it should be corrected.
In some cases we will have the obligation to delete your personal data. That applies for instance if you withdraw your consent. If you find that your data is no longer necessary according to the purpose for which we have collected it, you can ask for it to be deleted. You can also contact us if you find that your personal data is being processed in contravention with current law or other statutory obligations. You also have the option to file a complaint to The Danish Data Protection Agency.
KIT will always delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was retrieved.
If you contact us with a request to have your personal data edited or deleted, we will look into if the conditions are met and will, if they are, implement changes or a complete deletion as soon as possible.
You have the right to take exception to our processing of your personal data. You can also object to our transmission of your data for marketing purposes. You can use the contact information at the beginning of the document to file an objection. If your objection is legitimate, we will cease to process your data.
You have the opportunity to use data portability if you wish for your data to be moved to another data controller or data processor.
